3. How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To receive, review, and respond to partnership applications submitted through our Become a Partner form.

4. Legal Grounds for Processing

We process personal information only where there is an appropriate legal basis under the privacy laws applicable to the relevant processing activity.

For partnership applications, we may rely on your consent where consent is required by applicable law. In other circumstances, processing may be permitted where it is necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you, comply with applicable legal obligations, or meet another legal basis expressly recognized by applicable law.

We will not treat our general business interests alone as an independent legal basis where the applicable law does not recognize such a basis.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent by contacting us through the privacy contact channels described in Section 14. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing lawfully carried out before the withdrawal. We will assess any further processing or retention against applicable legal requirements.

Where a particular processing activity requires separate consent or additional notice under applicable law, we will seek that consent or provide that notice as required.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Partnership application information submitted through our website may be accessed by authorized members of the team who need the information to review applications, manage partnership enquiries, or maintain the website. Access should be limited to individuals who need the information for these operational purposes.

We may use third-party service providers to operate and maintain the website, including website hosting, form processing, database storage, website maintenance, and backup storage services. These providers may process or store personal information as necessary to perform their relevant functions.

We use Fluent Forms to collect and manage partnership applications through our WordPress website. We also use UpdraftPlus to create website backups manually. When a backup is created, copies of website files and the WordPress database may be uploaded to our connected Google Drive account. These backup copies may contain partnership application records and other personal information submitted through the website.

Access to website records and backup storage should be restricted to authorized individuals. Third-party service providers may process information in accordance with their applicable terms and privacy practices.

We may disclose personal information where required by law or where disclosure is otherwise permitted under applicable legal requirements.

6. Data Storage and Retention

Partnership applications submitted through our website are stored in the WordPress database through Fluent Forms. Authorized team members with appropriate access permissions may view these records through the WordPress administration dashboard.

We use UpdraftPlus to create website backups manually. When backups are created, copies of website files and the database may be uploaded to our connected Google Drive account. These backups may contain partnership application records and other personal information.

RAGOPAY has adopted the following retention and review rules, which are being implemented as part of our operational procedures:

  • Unsuccessful or closed applications: Application records will be retained for no longer than 90 days after the application is closed, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.
  • Applications under review: Pending applications will be reviewed at least every 30 days to determine whether continued retention remains necessary.
  • Withdrawal or deletion requests: We will assess verified requests promptly and delete personal information when required by applicable law, subject to any applicable retention obligations.
  • Active partnerships: Information will be retained only as necessary to manage the partnership and meet applicable obligations. Retention will be reassessed when the partnership ends.
  • Website backups: We retain no more than the three most recent necessary backup sets and remove older copies in accordance with our backup management procedures.

Deleting a record from the live website does not automatically remove copies from existing backups. We will take this into account when handling deletion requests, managing backup retention, and restoring data from backups.

These procedures are being implemented and will be reviewed as our operations develop.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses WordPress and related website components that may use cookies or similar technologies to support website functionality, security, preferences, and administrative access.

Our comment form includes an optional checkbox that allows visitors to save their name, email address, and website URL in their browser for future comments. If this option is selected, these details may be stored in cookies on the visitor’s device. The cookies used may depend on the website configuration and the visitor’s interactions with the website.

Our website also loads a Cloudflare Web Analytics / Real User Monitoring (RUM) script intended to help measure website traffic and performance. Cloudflare describes its Web Analytics service as designed to operate without cookies or browser storage for visitor tracking. The technical information processed depends on the service and its configuration.

During a limited test of the partnership application page using a fresh private browsing session, we did not observe cookies stored under the ragopay.com domain. This limited observation does not establish that cookies are never used on other pages or after other interactions, or that no technical information is processed.

Depending on the website features and external services used, third-party content or services may process technical information in accordance with their own privacy practices.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect some website functions.

We will review this section if our website features, analytics tools, third-party integrations, or cookie practices change.

8. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website may contain links to external websites, trading platforms, social media platforms, and other third-party services. When you follow an external link, the relevant third party may independently collect and process information in accordance with its own privacy policy and practices.

Our WordPress website has avatar display enabled for comments. Depending on the website configuration and the availability of a commenter’s avatar, your browser may request avatar images from a third-party avatar service. If an external service is contacted, it may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser request information. The specific service and data processed depend on the actual configuration and request.

We do not control the privacy practices of external websites or services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information to them or using their services.

We will review this section if our use of third-party websites, integrations, or services changes.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable steps, appropriate to our current operations, to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Access to the WordPress administration area and partnership application records is available to team members currently involved in operating RAGOPAY.

We use WordPress and Fluent Forms to manage partnership applications. Access to these records depends on the permissions available through the WordPress administration system. We review access arrangements as our operational practices develop.

We create website backups manually using UpdraftPlus. Backup copies may contain website files, database records, and personal information. Backup storage is managed through our connected Google Drive account. Access to backup files may also depend on the permissions available through WordPress and the backup plugin.

No website, storage system, or method of transmitting information over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We will review our security practices, access arrangements, and backup procedures as our operational arrangements develop.

10. International Data Processing

Depending on the location of our hosting infrastructure and service providers, personal information may be processed or stored in a country other than the country in which you reside.

Where international transfers are subject to applicable legal requirements, appropriate safeguards will be assessed and implemented as required by those laws.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and the privacy laws that apply, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent, object to certain processing, request restrictions on processing, or lodge a complaint with a relevant authority.

To make a privacy request, please contact us at contact.ragopay@gmail.com. Please describe your request so that we can identify the relevant information. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law and explain where a request cannot be fulfilled because of a legal exception or retention obligation.

12. Children’s Privacy

Our website is not intended to encourage children to submit personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our partnership application process. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can assess the situation and take appropriate action where required by law.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our website, business operations, data-processing practices, or applicable legal requirements. When we make changes, we will revise the Last Updated date and publish the updated version as appropriate.
